Am 1. Juli 2025 trat Sotirios Siozos seine neue Stelle als \u201cHead of Global Cyber Security (CISO) & IT Transformation Officer\u201d beim Beratungsspezialist Drees & Sommer SE an. Neben unternehmensstrategischen Themen betreut er vor allem die Bereiche Cybersicherheit und digitale Transformation.<\/p>\n

\u201eAls Digitalisierungstreiber ist Informationssicherheit f\u00fcr uns ein zentrales Thema, insbesondere im Umgang mit unseren Kunden\u201d, sagt Sotirios gegen\u00fcber CSO. \u201eDabei zeigt sich immer wieder, dass es nicht allein auf die technische Umsetzung ankommt, sondern auch darauf, wie wir das Thema Informationssicherheit kommunizieren und unsere Mitarbeitenden daf\u00fcr sensibilisieren.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nach eigenen Angaben befindet sich Drees & Sommer aktuell im Zertifizierungsprozess nach TISAX und ISO\/IEC 27001. \u201eDiese Standards sind f\u00fcr uns zentral, um den vertrauensvollen Umgang mit sensiblen Informationen sicherzustellen, insbesondere im Kontext internationaler Kunden, digitaler Projekte und im Bereich Real Estate\u201c, betont Siozos.<\/p>\n

Der neue CISO des auf Bau- und Immobilienthemen spezialisierten Unternehmens findet dabei die kulturelle Dimension von Informationssicherheit besonders spannend. \u201eGesetzliche Vorgaben und Sicherheitsverst\u00e4ndnisse sind weltweit sehr unterschiedlich ausgepr\u00e4gt. Um ein gemeinsames Fundament zu schaffen, setzen wir auf gezielte Schulungen, mehrsprachige Kommunikation und kulturell angepasste Ma\u00dfnahmen. Der Prozess zeigt uns sehr deutlich: Informationssicherheit ist nicht nur eine Frage der Technik, sondern vor allem auch ein kulturelles Thema.\u201c<\/p>\n

Sotirios bringt \u00fcber 25 Jahre Erfahrung in der IT-Branche mit und war bereits in mehreren leitenden Positionen f\u00fcr globale Unternehmen t\u00e4tig.
